Cap de Formentor

Heading out along the spit that juts out from the north of Mallorca Island is a dramatic coastal drive that winds past the mountain goats and along the sheer cliffs. At the end of the peninsular sits Cap de Formentor, known as the ‘meeting point of the winds’. And on top of that is perched the highest lighthouse in the Balearic Islands. Just one week prior we had rounded this cape by sea, so it was pretty special to then look down upon the coast that we had just sailed.
