Formentera

Formentera, you have stolen our hearts! Only accessible by boat, this little island paradise on the edge of the Balearics is utterly captivating.

We have spent the past week bathing in crystal clear waters under the hot summer sun. We have anchored our dinghy in pristine bays, snorkelling amongst the pipefish and dodging the odd jellyfish. We have swum in our own private cave. We have ogled the super yachts and cursed the day boaters. We have browsed the boutique shops and indulged ourselves at the local restaurants. We have combed the beaches for shells and driftwood. We have marvelled at sunsets and turquoise waters. We have spent time with friends and counted our lucky stars.

Tomorrow we will say goodbye to this lovely little corner of the Mediterranean and make our way over to Ibiza.
