Let's Unpack That

We have nearly unpacked everything! For the past two days we’ve been working hard to get everything on to the boat, plus continue to fit out various requirements, as well as ensure that we have all of the necessary supplies on board before we move in.

Thankfully, the grandparents arrived from the UK yesterday - they are kindly helping to look after the kids for two weeks whilst we continue to get our new home prepped for sail - we couldn’t do it without them!

And to add to the excitement, we also had our boat decals fitted today! This somehow made everything a bit more real. Adding our name and logo to the hull seems more official than signing contracts or sending cheques… Welcome to the world, s/v Long Summer!
