Boat JobsLong PostMorocco

These past few weeks we’ve been working hard to get Long Summer summer-body-ready for the new cruising season.

Clare and Jake have been working hard; helping us to prep the boat before we move on. Cleaning her, polishing the stainless, scrubbing the clears, making fender socks, de-wintering the sails, checking all the lines... As usual, the boat jobs are endless!

Although we are excited to explore new horizons, it will be bitter sweet leaving Morocco. We have absolutely loved spending the past 5 months here and we will be so sad to say goodbye to the children’s school and all the friends we’ve made along the way.

The challenge of being a nomad is that you have to leave in order to keep on moving...
